You may recognize this soap as looking very like an early representation of a fertility goddess. Here, we revere the Venus of Willendorf in soap form–two different soap forms to be exact.
This lovely woman is available in goats milk soap with honey and oatmeal, or in a honey blend base loaded with authentic African Black soap. Sustainably sourced from Ghana, this soap boats an array of oils, rich butters, and exfoliating additives like plantain ash. It’s delightful on skin, but also rare and a bit pricey. We think it’s well worth the splurge. You only get one epidural layer, after all.
Want to pamper yourself or a dear friend? Woman of the Bath is the way. We love the milk soaps with our Audrey 3 fragrance, and the African Black soaps in Dream Sequence. Prefer another? That’s cool, choose from our fragrance page and let us know.
Note: Those with particularly soft or sensitive skin may prefer to rub African Black soap onto a washcloth rather than directly on skin. We urge you to do whatever works best with your skin type.
